Kaigal Waterfalls | also know as Dumukuralla waterfalls| Chittoor District in Andhra Pradesh

The name of these waterfalls is reference of the village kaigal, there is another name for this waterfall known as Dumukuralla waterfalls this name came to these waterfalls because of its, sound is like a fall of stones from above.
It is located on the Highway which is connected to Palamaner To Kuppam at a distance of 3km from kaigal village, nearly 30km from Palamaner, about 140km from Tirupati, more or less 125km from Bangalore, 65km from chittoor, 75km from kanipakam, about 95km from vellore(The place where Golden temple is located) and nearly 220km from Chennai.

The waterfall is about 40feet height, it is situated in amidst forest with full of shrubs and wild life. There is a shivalinga near the falls attracts pilgrims from surrounding villages during Shivaratri festival.

Bus for transportation Visitors can take Palamaner – Kuppam bus and get down at Kaigal waterfalls bus stop, then walk for 10min via mud road as the road is inaccessible for vehicles. Best mode to reach kaigal waterfalls is walking from bus stop.
Best time to visit the waterfalls
Between June to November, it means peak monsoons.
